A feature documentary film by director Rachel Gordon Loube.

Log Line

A great-granddaughter's desire to connect with her ancestral namesake, leads her to travel and to experience a place long thought lost - her family's Jewish Eastern European hometown.

In the director's words

The film interweaves two stories. It honors, my great-grandmother, Rose's courageous actions and presents my experiences in her former shtetl.

By sharing Rose's memories, along with the experiences of non-Jewish Lithuanians whom I meet, my film explores, in a personal way, how the loss inflicted by the Holocaust continues to impact many of us, generations later.
